Last night when we were upstairs getting ready for bed, I was in taking care of the last pit stop of the night for Max. Ruby was a little agitated waiting for me to come in and feed her. When I finally was in her sight she looked at me, smiled and said, "mama." We were both shocked and I said, "did she just say that?" Peg affirmed, and she went on to say it a couple more times all surrounded with smiles. Pure sweetness.
