Ok, I've been tagged by S and E . By the way, that's the first time I've done the link thing in a post. . .wow, I'm getting so advanced at this blogging thing!
Here are the rules: Let others know who tagged you.Players start with 8 random facts about themselves. Those who are tagged should post these rules and their 8 random facts. Players should tag 8 other people and tell them they’ve been tagged.
Here we go!
1) In December, Peg and I will celebrate 10 years together. Wow, we've done a lot in those 10 years!
2) I still don't know who ran over my cat Marshmallow. When I was a kid, we lived in the country and lost a lot of cats(outside cats) to cars. I was going to be taking my siamese cat Marshmallow to the Fair. The week of the Fair, she was run over in the driveway. I ended up having to take Ashes, and ended up with a 2nd place. My Dad still won't tell me who did it.
3) I was a Music major in college. Took a break from school, then finished in 2003 with a Music Performance major and a Computer Science minor. My current job is in Engineering. Quite the combo!
4) I love to cook. Just wish I had more time to do it.
5) I am the youngest of 6 children. For the past 10 years, I have not really spoken with 2 of my siblings. You can guess why. They do not know our kids, and frankly, don't know if I want my kids to know people that decide to just cut someone out of their life because of who they are. The few times we have been at the same event, they act as if we are not there and do not exist. What lovely people. I feel worst about it for my parents and other supportive siblings. What an awkward position this puts them in. I wish it didn't have to be this way.
6) I am normally a very non-OCD, but, when I check out at the grocery store or co-op, I am very particular about how things need to be put up on the check-out counter.
7) For some reason, people can talk to me. Sometimes this is a great thing, sometimes, not so much.
8) Favorite pop/jazz musicians: Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Chet Baker, JJ Johnson, Stevie Wonder(old stuff) James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Keb Mo, Jack Johnson ok, this could go on and on, I just like a lot of stuff. Let's leave it at that!
It looks like a lot of the people I would tag have already been tagged, so I guess the buck stops here. . . .

We're in!
Welcome back to the blogosphere!
We are now at a new location! We have been in our new house for just over a week, still trying to figure out how we want to live in the new digs! We are very happy with the additional space, but still have lots of cleaning, reorganizing, etc to do.
Max seems to like everything about the house, except, sleeping in his room at night. He has the largest bedroom(anticipating a merge of the kid's room when Cooper moves to a bed). He frequently requests us to sleep with him, and had one really bad night where he was crying off and on most of the night. Not quite sure what we are going to do about this. We're pretty sure he likes the house as he talks positively about it. Just yesterday when I picked him up from school, he was inviting all of his friends to come over for a party. Hmm. We might just have to do that! He is doing well at school. Knows how to spell his name( Max) both verbally as well as using refrigerator magnet letters. Still loves animals, books, and of course pretending. He is always telling us who he "is", who we "are" and is quick to correct us if we slip up and actually call him by his name. "No, I'm baby jaguar and you're anaconda."
Cooper is loving the new house too. He is now walking more than crawling. I think I would say he walked at the age of 13 months. He, and Max as well, love to hang out on the front porch. It is a screened porch that has no exit to the outdoors (which Mommy and I love for safety purposes) They run back and forth pushing the grocery cart, the walker, or anything else we put out there. Cooper is now sitting in a booster chair at the table, which makes him very happy. He was literally to the point of crawling out of his high chair, so we thought it was time! He is giving kisses! Totally sticks out his toungue and plants a wet one on you! He can identify a couple of animals in books (dog, cow and cat). We think he's working on "MOO." Not really saying a whole lot as far as words yet, but still talks a lot!

Countdown. . .
Well we close on the old and new houses in less than two weeks. Wow. We are busy bringing our basement upstairs and putting it into the garage or our storage area. We are hoping to get into the garage of our new place at least by next week. . .if we could get in this weekend that would be awesome, but we're not counting on it. We are still working out some final details with the seller, and until that's worked out, we aren't going to ask to get in early. Here are a few pictures of our new house:
